Minty Soap

I love mint!  And I know a lot of other people do too!  Mint fragrances never worked well with my soap recipe, but since I now use only essential oils to scent my soaps I  figured it was time to try again!  I used Spearmint, Peppermint & Wintergreen. None of them discolored my soap this time, so I can finally add mint soap to my list of regular soaps.

Merlot Wine Soap

Since I was so successful with beer soap I decided to try another type of alcohol, namely wine.  It is always best to use additives with lower sugar content as there is less chance of the soap turning into a volcano!  So I used Merlot wine for this batch.  At first I thought it didn't turn out.  When I took it out of the mold it was a very light pink color.  But about a week after being on the curing shelf it turned a darker red.  Also, this is a super silky feeling soap.  I will post results after...

New Soap!

New Soap!

I decided to add some new all natural soaps to my product list.  One that I personally love and use all the time is the cows milk soap.  Its soft, creamy lather leaves your skin nice and hydrated, clean without drying it out!  It will be posted on the website soon!
